HTC - 'VIVE Focus Vision' Launch VideO
For the launch of the HTC VIVE Focus Vision, I took on the role of Creative Director, leading the charge to create an engaging and memorable video that would spread awareness and drive pre-orders for our new VR headset.
After extensive research on target audiences and competitor launches, I crafted a narrative that emphasized the innovative features of the product. I wrote and directed the video, guiding the vision from concept to final delivery. My responsibilities included hiring and managing the production team, coordinating logistics, and collaborating with our internal product, sales, marketing, and PR teams to ensure our messaging was on point.
In the early stages, I tested product prototypes to understand the user experience, allowing me to refine the creative direction and build an authentic story. I developed the script and storyboard, focusing on the emotional and technical aspects of the product's benefits. In post-production, I took the lead on editing, ensuring the final cut captured the excitement and possibilities of the VIVE Focus Vision.
Additionally, I worked closely with our internal creative team, including Art Director, Bryce Hymans who played a crucial role in executing our visual style. His hard work and creativity were instrumental in bringing the project to life, helping us achieve a cohesive and visually compelling piece.
The result was a launch video that successfully generated excitement and awareness, reinforcing the VIVE Focus Vision’s position as a leader in the VR market.
