HTC x Games For Change

HTC partnered with Games for Change to sponsor an XR “Brain Jam” hackathon at their flagship event, with the goal of engaging developers and driving adoption of VIVE hardware. This video was created to showcase the event, highlight developer experiences, and position VIVE headsets as a platform for building meaningful, impact-driven XR applications.
I led end-to-end production, developing the story outline and managing all pre-production including travel, event logistics, partner coordination, and equipment rentals. On-site, I directed a second shooter while also capturing video and audio, and conducted interviews with the organization’s president and participating developers to shape a clear narrative around the experience. I focused on capturing authentic moments of creation and collaboration, along with product-in-use footage that grounded the story in real developer workflows. In post, I edited the final piece and managed approvals across internal and external stakeholders.
